Ground floor:
Behind a stone portico the front door leads straight into the lounge fitted with leather settees flat screen TV and wood burner (perfect for cooler winter days). The rustic open living area of this Gozo holiday farmhouse features a dining table that seats 8 and a superb kitchen accessed by via two small steps.
Bedroom 1 is off the lounge with a double bed and en-suite bathroom.
First floor:
The remaining 3 bedrooms are reached via the stone stairs that lead to a charismatic first floor landing. Bedroom 2 features a double bed and en-suite shower room. Bedrooms 3 and 4 have twin beds and an en-suite shower room.
Outdoors:
Outside Ta Filomena’s large pool is surrounded by a stone terrace decorated with pretty shrubs. A range of rattan sun beds dining suites and a barbecue make al fresco dining a relaxed delight.

Xaghra
Xaghra’s village square just a 10 minute stroll from your Gozo holiday home has a range of cosmopolitan restaurants and a buzzing café atmosphere. It’s a great place for a hearty meal or a light snack and just as good for people watching. It is also within a short distance of the island’s main summer resort of Marsalforn with its excellent swimming spots restaurants bars and bustling summer crowds. Marsalforn is 1.2km from Xaghra. Xwejni Bay is 3.3km away.
Ix-Xwejni Bay and Qbajjar Bay are both easily reached through Marsalforn or i|-{ebbu!. The two shallow bays are right next to each other with small pebbly beaches and rocky stretches leading into clear blue water. Locals and visitors alike enjoy the bays’ excellent swimming and there’s good diving to be had especially for beginners. A few fishing boats are based here too and there are a couple of bars and restaurants on the sea front.
Xaghra is also home to unique prehistoric temples which are the oldest standing structures in the world. Together with the burial grounds close by they’re a magnet for historians and archaeologists from all over the world.
A local food store is just 2 minutes’ walk away and a good spot to top up provisions or catch service 322 for Victoria if you want a bigger range of shops.
