"Gozo’s not short of farmhouse holiday homes. And thanks to the stone beams and traditional tiles that feature prominently they all tend to feel authentically rustic. But some feel more authentic than others and if there’s a farmhouse that feels more ‘farmhousey’ than Ta Betta I’d love to see it.
It’s not big or grand. It’s not filled with light from vast terrace doors. But wow it has style and character to spare from the hayloft in one of its bedrooms to the vaulted ceiling above the kitchen dining area.
That rustic realism isn’t at the expense of comfort either. Ta Betta is full of neat homely touches and cosiness in every corner. It’s also brilliantly placed just off Gharb’s main piazza.
And if you love the look of Ta Betta but just wish it had more bedrooms Ta Mansi adjoins this Gozo farmhouse and has an interconnecting door so you can turn 2 bedrooms for 4 into 4 bedrooms for 8". Jules
PROPERTY DETAILS
Ground floor:
The vaulted kitchen diner is the atmospheric centrepiece of the ground floor. The adjoining living area with fireplace sofa TV and Wi-Fi is cosy and welcoming.
First floor:
Both of Ta Betta’s bedrooms are on the first floor and both are en suite. Bedroom 1 has a double bed. Bedroom 2 has twin beds and a loft that could accommodate 2 additional children.
Both bedrooms overlook the pool terrace.

A cosy living area with wood burning fireplace leads onto an equipped kitchen/dining and pool area with sun loungers and BBQ area. Traditional furnishings have been used throughout adding to the character and rustic charm which has been carefully converted into a wonderful holiday home.
Outside:
The generously sized terrace features pool loungers table and chairs and a BBQ.

Gharb Village On the western side of Gozo
Gharb is one of the island’s oldest villages. It is surrounded by two villages San Lawrenz and G'asri and the sea.
The closest beach - Dwejra - is just 2.5 km away. Just seconds from the town’s piazza you’ll have the local restaurant (Ta' Salvina) snack bar and grocery store practically on your doorstep.
For a wider choice of restaurants head to St Lawrenz where Tatitas and Grazie Mille provide plenty of options.
Victoria the island’s capital is 3.5 km away by bus. Use service 312 from the stop close to your Gozo holiday home.
