“I was intrigued by the private entrance as we wandered up a pretty stone driveway surrounded by shrubs, toward the green front door. Reminds me of a hybrid country cottage style bungalow of typical local character, within its own space.
Walking into the hall, I realise this home is all on one level. We envisaged this being of particular benefit to those with young children and guests with lesser mobility. We just meandered easily throughout the modern home with premium finish and furnishings. Bedrooms, living space, kitchen, and dining area, all interconnected with a private pool and terrace, surrounded by a pretty stone wall.
The living space brims with sunlight from terrace doors surrounding it and connecting it with the outdoor space. A wee gem of a family, group hideaway”. Jules

This is a property with a difference, located in the popular village of Sannat, close to restaurants and local bars. You’ll also enjoy access to the mini-gym and sauna, shared by - but exclusive to – the 3 Djar Ta Menzja Gozo holiday villas to the rear.
Given the close proximity of four farmhouses - Casetta Menzja plus the three Djar Ta Menzja farmhouses – in the same private complex, they make an ideal opportunity to accommodate groups of up to 36 guests for a wedding or special occasion.
To complete the experience, ask us about hiring a private chef - perfect for making special occasions extra special.
The property is fully air-conditioned throughout and is complimentary (unusual for Gozo holiday accommodation).

The village of Sannat is situated on high grounds in the area of Ta Cenc famous for its breathtaking cliffs overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. This area is perfect for walks and mountain bikes.
The name Ta’ Sannat possibly derives from an Arabic-Greek family who moved across from Sicily. The village lies in the southerly end of Gozo and is best known for Ta’ Cenc plateau. This fantastic plateau of typically Maltese flora and fauna overlooks the Hanzira Valley - a natural gorge with steep rocky sides separating Ta’ Sannat from Xewkija village. The plateau can be found at the edge of the village close to the highest cliffs in Gozo - the Ta’ Cenc Cliffs. Down from the Hanzira valley, you find Mgarr ix-Xini Bay a particularly delightful spot for swimming and diving.
Aside from the splendid views Ta’ Cenc is a place of natural interest as several prehistoric remains have been found here including the remains of the ancient L-Imramma Temple (a roughly shaped horizontal limestone slab supported on three sides by blocks of upright stone).
The village is also known for gaining independent parish status in 1688 making it one of the first Island villages to do so. The church today dedicated to St. Margaret the Martyr was built on the site of an earlier church. This earlier church dating back to 1718 was consecrated twice in 1755 and again (after significant structural changes) in 1868. While you are there take a look inside at the fine altarpiece by Stefano Erardi. The village Festa celebrating St Margaret takes place around the third week of July and is always worth watching.
