Villa magnifica is a sight to behold. With panoramic views from its outdoor areas, and an ever-tempting pool that seems to meld seamlessly with the blue skies, it is quickly becoming one of the all-time favourite holiday homes on the island. Upon entrance you are immediately welcomed by a beautiful expansive living area combined with a fully equipped kitchen and dining room overlooking the pool area and jaw dropping views. Villa Magnifica enjoys a 7-seater Jacuzzi Hot Tub cleverly designed to pamper yourself while you can also enjoy the views. It has a pool table and some gym equipment. If you and your family/group opt to stay at ‘Villa Magnifica’ then make it a point to go out and enjoy a walk with beautiful views from various viewpoints around the village. The village name of ‘Ix-Xaghra’, is derived from Arabic and means ‘wilderness’. It is located on a lengthy stretch of high ground northeast of the capital town of Victoria, encircled by the beautiful bays of Ramla, Għajn Barrani and Marsalforn. The valleys of Ramla, Ta’ l-Għejjun and Marsalforn caress this lovely village and give you access to lovely country walks, biking/quad-biking or even horse-riding. The famous bay of Ramla, assumed by most as the island’s best beach, is one of the must-dos when visiting Gozo. This beach is very popular for swimming and snorkelling while the golden coloured sand is a haven for sunbathers. Another popular tourist area which is also close and easily accessed by public transport is Marsalforn Bay. This bay is a popular base for diving enthusiasts, who can choose from a variety of diving schools and dive sites and is well served with nice restaurants and bars by the sea. Nestled in the heart of the village lie some of the world’s oldest free-standing monuments – the megalithic temples of Ggantija. Other points of interest found at Xaghra are Ta’Kola Windmill; Pomskizillious Museum of Toys; Xerri’s Grotto, Ninu’s Cave and Calypso Cave.

“It always amazes us how deceptive a front door can be when we discover what lies behind. Arriving at Magnifica, is one of those moments. Impossible to imagine the amount of house, depth of detail and creativity over 3 levels. Contemporary architecture, great amenities, and a superior finish make this a fabulous find for large groups and families.

As we enter the ground floor, a large brightly lit open space features a modern kitchen with breakfast island. The dining area and adjoining lounge provide space to spread out. And, of course, you can’t miss the pictureesque scene from the terrace.

Step outside terrace doors and absorb the beautiful landscape. A private pool terrace has one of the best vantage points of Gozo. Its elevated position on the side of a valley offers miles of panoramic views.

Venture to the next floor and discover 5 bedrooms all with ensuite shower rooms. These have superior boutique-style bedroom furnishings that emphasise Magnifica’s contemporary feel.

We then venture in the opposite direction, to a lower ground floor accessed by a feature wrought iron staircase. Here, we find an unexpected contemporary space with 7-seater jacuzzi and more great views. Terrace doors open onto a balcony with sunbeds to soak up the atmosphere. A well equipped gym and pool table offer hours of entertainment.

PROPERTY DETAIL

Ground Floor:

Through the entrance hallway with feature wall, you will find a shower room and Box Room with washing machine at ground level.

The living Room has a four-seater sofa and large fireplace for the cooler months.
A fully equipped kitchen has an electric oven, dishwasher, microwave, fridge, freezer, coffee machine, kettle, crockery and 1.9 litre water-keg dispenser.

The dining room is situated in the open plan lviing space with a 10-seater dining table. There is a breakfast bar adjacent, to seat additional guests to socialise and keep the chef/s company.

First Floor:

Here you will find five of the six bedrooms.
Bedroom 1 has a double bed, full shower room, and balcony overlooking street.

Bedroom 2 has 2 single beds and an ensuite shower room.

Bedroom 3 has a double bed with ensuite shower room.

Bedroom has double bed, full shower room ensuite and balcony overlooking pool.

Bedroom 5 also has a double bed, a full shower room ensuite and balcony overlooking pool.

Lower ground floor:

There is an extra room with sofa bed which is ideal for young children. A shower room is also located here. The large open space has a range of amenities including a Jacuzzi Room with a 7-seater hot tub overlooking the valley, a range of gym equipment, and a pool table.

Free Wi-Fi is available. The large screen TV offers free worldwide TV channels, live streaming and Video-on-Demand.

Magnifica is fully air-conditioned or heated with an allowance capped at 45 units electricity consumption per day.

OUTSIDE:

Private Pool. Dimensions: 7m x 5.3 m Depth: 1 m to 1.8 m with 6 sun loungers. There is a pool shower here also.

A 10-seater outdoor dining table has an Umbrella next to the pool.

A charcoal Grill with all necessary utilities provides the opportunity to spend a lazy day or evening with magical views, making it a special occasion.

Limited Mobility Access

This villa is built into the cliff over three floors and stairs are required to access all areas
