PROPERTY DETAILS
Ground floor:
The grand reception extends into a modern kitchen with a co-ordinated breakfast island and stools. A great space to gather and enjoy each other’s company. The kitchen is well equipped with a dishwasher and all other modern appliances.
Bright space in the kitchen is magnified by light from under the stone arch to the combined living and dining room’s. This provides an airy space thanks to the large terrace doors leading to the pool and arched wooden windows surrounding the room.
Off the reception, you will find a separate family bathroom and Bedroom 1. This double room has enough space for the number of suitcases you could fit a small airplane!
First floor:
Take the stone stairs to the first floor to find a further 3 bedrooms.
You may want to spend some quiet time on the landing Chesterfield settee with a good book or glass of wine.
Bedroom 2 is very spacious, with a double bed and ensuite bathroom. Terrace doors lead onto a stone balcony with miles of panoramic countryside and Mediterranean views to enjoy.
Bedrooms 3 and 4 are to the rear of the holiday home. Both have twin beds and terrace doors that lead onto a joined stone balcony overlooking the pool terrace. From here, you can also enjoy stretching views.

Outdoor space:
The pool terrace is spacious with outdoor dining table, chairs and sunbeds for the group. The pool size is 7.6 m X 3.4 m. There is also a charcoal BBQ.
San Lawrenz
San Lawrenz is another charming and traditional village. It lies in the westerly part of the Island not far from Dwegra Ban and Ta’Dbiegi Craft Village. Built on a plane this picturesque village is surrounded by three hills: Ta' Dbiegi (at 195 metres above sea level this is Gozo's highest point) Ta' Ghammar and Ta' Gelmus. You will find here the unlikely contrast of a typically rural lifestyle and nurtured village traditions against the five star luxury of the Kempinski San Lawrenz Hotel on the village outskirts.
Interestingly San Lawrenz is one of only two sites named after their patron saint (the other being Santa Lucija in Ta' Kercem). Before the village was established as a parish on 15 March 1893 it was known as Ta' Cangura. This earlier name dates back beyond Gozo’s worst siege in history where in1551 most of the inhabitants were enslaved by the Ottoman Turks. At that time San Lawrenz formed part of Gharb’s parish though San Lawrenz villagers longed for their own parish church and community. Finally achieving parish status in 1893 the locals were so delighted apparently that they set straight to work building their new church with great enthusiasm. The village feast of San Lawrenz falls in the first week of August.
The closest beach Dwejra is 2.8 km away. You can also find the Azure Window bar and Restaurant here, named after the very famous recent Azure Window. Bus 311 will take you there.
The nearest food store in San Lawrenz is 1.2 km from the house. 'Tatitas' Restaurant is a good find in the main village square. You will also find a small selection of local restaurants including Il Kunvent. Grazie Mille and Salvinas restaurant are in nearby Gharb.
St Lawrenz is also home of one of the the islands 5 Star hotel and leisure clubs, The Kempinski.
Alternatively venture 3.5 km into the main town of Victoria and enjoy the many bars cafe's restaurants and shops it has to offer.
There is bus stop next to Zgugina with a regular service to Victoria and neighbouring villages.
