“Inside the front door, I am instantly drawn beyond the marble staircase to the terrace doors. What a view!! A perfect postcard picture - for those who remember holiday memories delivered by postcard, before the days of email and text? Must be one of the best vistas on Gozo.
There is a constant changing of scene with ferries passing each other on the channel beween Gozo and Malta. Fishing boats and luxury yachts drift in and out, some mooring at Mgarr. Harbour View has a priveledged, elevated poistion with panoramic harbour scenes and a rolling backdrop of Mediterranean sea.
On the first floor a wide terrace with beautiful stone arches overlooks the pool, taking in similar scenes. Rattan furniture makes me think this could be the best seat in the house? Venturing to the second floor a roof terrace offers more postcard pictures to send home.

Harbour View is ideally located on the doorstep of some gastronomic delights. You can take a leisurely walk down the pier and enjoy the lively atmosphere of restaurants, cafes and bars. Some of these surround the waters edge and offer a great dining experience. I’ve indulged often!

Ground floor:
The front door opens into a hall where you meet a feature stair case of wrought iron and marble. Just before this, you find Bedroom 1 with a large ensuite and corner bath.
Continuing along the hall is a well- equipped farmhouse kitchen with combined dining table and chairs. A perfect space to gather, bringing the outside in.
A comfortable settee is adjacent in the hall if you wan to relax and rest from the days hottest sun. A family bathroom is also located at ground floor.
First floor:
Climbing the feature staircase brings you to the first floor with a spacious lounge area and 2 further bedrooms. Bedroom 2 is spacious with ensuite shower room. Bedroom 3 is also spacious with a double bed and bathroom ensuite. Both bedrooms have access large balcony of limestone arches overlooking the pool and the harbour. A scenic spot to relax, take in the views and enjoy a glass of wine.
The first floor has a spacious lounge with settees and T.V for relaxation.
Second Floor:
Marble stairs lead you to the second floor where you find Bedroom 4. It has two single beds (that double up) and an ensuite shower room. A front terrace overlooks the pool and a rear roof terrace means you can enjoy yet more harbour vista’s.
Additional Information
Air-Conditioning units are available for use with an electronic coin system (€1 & €2 coins). Each AC unit consumes around €2 per night.
A fully refundable security deposit of €200 is required at check in, from a valid credit card (Visa or Master Card only).
Outdoors:
Doors lead you from the kitchen onto the pool terrace. Enjoy a swim in the pool and spend long lazy hours “Mediterranean watching” on comfortable sunbeds. You could spend hours watching the ferries drift in and out of Mgarr harbour where elegant boat and cruise ships choose to dock. Rattan pool terrace dining furniture and a gas BBQ make a great opportunity to dine al fresco, soaking up the ambiance.
