You probably won’t have heard of the Ggantija Temples. Few people have before they visit Gozo, but this jewel in Gozo’s archaeological crown (near Xaghra) has UNESCO World Heritage status and is older than Stonehenge.

The Ġgantija Temples, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, date back over 5,500 years and are among the oldest free-standing structures in the world, even predating the pyramids of Egypt.
