“There is a lot to surprise and delight through the green painted front door. This lovely holiday home is a traditional farmhouse fully converted to a high standard without compromising the unique charm, layout and character of its origins.

The living space is cosy and spacious but what draws immediate attention, are lovely white painted Mediterranean terrace doors. These flood the house with magnificent countryside views. Rolling views of the pool terrace with its mature gardens, complement the island landscape which is captures the most idyllic rural setting. One, you will become drawn to and wish to spend many hours.

Ground floor:

Bright, cosy and spacious, the living area combines comfortable settees and a central dining area. A blue painted Mediterranean cottage style kitchen provides a well-equipped and sized gantry space. The sunlight and profile of delightful views flood this kitchen, bringing it alive.

A stone surrounded fireplace offers an attractive feature for cooler winter months.

First floor:

A unique feature of the typical farmhouse is the external stone staircase that leads to the first-floor bedrooms. This is symbolic of the original farmhouse where the animals would occupy the ground floor whilst the family living accommodation would be situated on the first floor via an external staircase.

Original mosaic tiled floors and stairs bring you to the first floor. Here, you will find Bedrooms 1 and 2. Both have a double bed and ensuite facilities

Second: Floor:

Following a similar staircase of character will being you to the second-floor bedrooms, 3 and 4. One of these has a double bed with Bedroom 4 offering twin wrought iron beds. The tiled flooring is of distinct character with restored feature tiles. Both bedrooms have ensuite facilities.


All rooms are equipped with Air Conditioning units operated by an electronic coin box on a pay-as-you-use basis (€1 & €2 coins). A screen displays the credit remaining with each AC unit consuming approximately € 2 per night.

Prices exclude the Malta Eco Tax – a requirement by Maltese law to be collected from all guests on arrival. This applies to those age 18 and over and consists of €0.50c per person for each night’s stay, to a maximum of €5 per person for each continuous stay. This is paid in Euro currency only and will be collected by the owner on check-in..

The kitchen and dining room enjoys excellent views of the huge private pool, deck area and mature garden. The 1st floor consists of 2 bedrooms both ensuite facilities. The 3rd and 4th bedrooms are on the 2nd floor and also both equipped with an ensuite bathroom.


A stunning, spacious reception awaits. A private pool and terrace are surrounded by a pretty low stone wall and mature Gardens. Countryside views complement this picture. An awning covers the outdoor dining table, chairs and BBQ. There is plenty of room to spread out on sun loungers for hours of relaxation.

Village of Gharb

On the western side of Gozo Gharb is one of the island’s oldest villages. It is surrounded by two villages San Lawrenz and G'asri and the sea.

The closest beach is 5 km away. The nearest food store is a short drive (1.7km) while the nearest restaurant, Silvano's is a short 750m. For a wider choice of restaurants head to St Lawrenz where Ta Jeffries Tatitas and Grazie Mille provide plenty of options. There is also a snack bar in Gharb’s main village square.

Victoria the island’s capital is just 3.5 km away by bus. Use service 312 from the stop a couple of hundred metres away from your Gozo holiday home.
